STEM News Tip: JWST Deployment

NASA has announced that the James Webb Space Telescope has fully deployed all of its mirror segments and is beginning the final alignment of all components. There will be an overall update webcast at 3PM EST January 24th, you can catch it at NASA Science Life https://www.nasa.gov/nasasciencelive

And learn more at the first UMD Physics Colloquium of the year, on February 1, when Prof. John Mather presents "Progress towards Opening the Infrared Treasure Chest with JWST".
