Purpose: Demonstrate fiber optics in an interesting way.
Description: One end of a fiber optics bundle is placed against a slide, and the other end is projected on a screen using a movie projector lens. The subject in the photograph above is two characters in a "BC" cartoon, but the low fiber resolution makes it difficult to identify.
