In the traditional followup to our last post, we have a lunar eclipse coming up this week! And, unlike the recent solar eclipse, it will be somewhat more visible from Maryland!

The eclipse will be at its peak just after midnight Friday morning here in College Park, and will be visible through much of the western hemisphere. If you want to enjoy the full experience, plan to be somewhere comfy and dark (and not raining) by 10PM Thursday evening, and settle in to enjoy the show.
